We'll be direct with you. In several countries, people have been deliberately targeted through dating apps — robbery, extortion, assault — and the pattern is almost always the same three things: a fake profile, a private location, and nobody who knew where they were going.
This app is built to break that chain, and there are things only you can do.
WHAT WE DO
- We never process your location. Not "we anonymise it" — there is no geolocation call anywhere in this app. You pick a district from a list. Nobody can be found through FFLOWERS because FFLOWERS doesn't know where anyone is.
- Every photo is looked at by a human before anyone else can see it.
- Photo metadata is destroyed twice — on your phone and again on our server. The GPS coordinates of where a photo was taken never reach our disk.
- Block and report on every profile, and reporting blocks instantly.
- Bouquet tables are licensed public venues only, and the address goes out to confirmed seats a couple of hours before, never publicly.
What we don't do: we don't claim to stop screenshots. Other apps advertise that. It cannot actually be enforced, and pretending it can makes people careless.
THE FIRST MEETING
- Somewhere public, with staff and other people in it. A bar, a café, a park in daylight. Not their place, not yours, not a car.
- Get yourself there and back. Your own bike, your own tram, your own money for a taxi. Not their lift.
- Tell someone. Where, when, who. Use tell a friend on your profile page — it makes a link you send to whoever you trust, and they don't need this app to open it.
- Keep your drink with you. If you leave it, get a new one. This is dull advice and it is also correct.
- Leave the second you want to. No explanation, no apology, no lift home. "I'm going to head off" is a complete sentence.
Money. Crypto. Gift cards. Your bank details. A copy of your ID. A code sent to your phone. Intimate photos as "proof". A loan "just until Friday". Anyone asking is running a script on you, and it's a script — they've sent it to a hundred people. Report and block. You are not the first and you did nothing stupid.
