WHY THERE'S NO COOKIE POPUP

Cookie banners are legally required for tracking cookies — ads, analytics, fingerprinting. We don't do any of that, so there's nothing to ask permission for. We set two purely functional cookies: one remembers your seed number (only after you plant it — your action, your cookie), and one logs our own staff in. Functional cookies need no consent. The popup other sites show you exists because of what they do, not because of what cookies are.

WHAT WE STORE

Your email address and the moment you planted it. That is the entire database. It lives on our own server in Amsterdam — not in some analytics cloud — and it's used for exactly one thing: inviting you when the garden opens.

WHAT WE DON'T

No name. No location. No device fingerprint. No analytics. No ad pixels. No third-party requests at all — open your browser's network tab: it's silence. Even the fonts are yours (system fonts, no Google). IP addresses pass through memory only to slow down bots and are never written to disk.

WHEN THE APP LAUNCHES

A dating app needs more: a profile, photos, preferences — some of it legally sensitive data. When that day comes we'll ask for each piece explicitly, store the minimum, keep it in the EU, and update this page before the app changes — not after. That's the deal, in writing, from day zero.
